The lodge's location is a major advantage, as it is within walking distance of a small general store, making it convenient for any last-minute needs. situated in a forested area just outside of the park entrance, it offers a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Being right in the park allows for easy access to all the hiking areas.
Some guests have complained about the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which may be a concern during warmer months.

Valhalla Pizza, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Sunrise point was situated on the doorstep. The property met my needs, we would love to come back;)))

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled inside the national park, just around 100 yards from one of the most breathtaking sights you could wish for - the canyon rim. The location in this forested area adds to the charm and tranquility of the stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a working fireplace and either a balcony or a larger patio. The staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. The breakfast served at the hotel is delicious and satisfying, setting you up perfectly for a day of exploring.
All aspects of the stay were more than satisfactory.

Great views from the hotel and easy access to nearby attractions. the room was equipped with a coffee maker and a fridge, which was convenient. Loved the fact that everything was within walking distance.
The lack of basic amenities was disappointing. the room had no air conditioning or a TV.
